What the Bible says

A verse a day is one of the oldest ways to stay close to Scripture. You do not need a long reading plan: one verse, read slowly in the morning and remembered during the day, is enough to change how the day feels.

Try this: read the verse twice, once to understand it and once to hear it. Pick one word that stands out. Turn the verse into a one-line prayer. Then save it, so it is with you when you need it.
