Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Guard your heart above everything else, because your whole life flows from it.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Humility in practice: value others above yourself and look out for their interests, not only your own.
KJV1If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
A letter of joy that Paul wrote from prison to a church he loved.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Guard your heart above everything else, because your whole life flows from it.

For every hard conversation: quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Paul’s word on yoking your life to someone who does not share your faith: when choosing a partner, look for one who walks the same way. It is not a call to leave a marriage you are already in (1 Corinthians 7:12-13).
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
A song about how good it is when brothers and sisters, in a family or among God’s people, live together in unity.
